Understanding accounts and logins

Accounts in Tracker are different than individual user logins.

A user’s login is always associated with an individual, and includes their email address, a unique username, and their private password. A login can own or be a member of one or more accounts.

Accounts allow you to organize projects; they can be thought of as containers for projects. For example, they allow you to separate your personal and company work. Every project belongs to an account, and each account is separate. An account has one owner, and can have additional people as administrators. You can create—or be invited to—as many accounts as you’d like, but each account must be managed (and paid for, if applicable) separately.
